THOUGH Jackson County’s golf team didn’t make it to state, it did have one representative. Sophomore York Delloyd, who qualified for state by finishing in the top six individually at the Region 8-AA tournament, shot an 81 Monday at the Class AA boys’ tournament at Waynesboro County Club. THE JEFFERSON girls’ soccer team’s breakthrough season came to an end Friday in the state tournament. Madison County’s boys’ tennis team fell just shy of an Elite 8 appearance this week, falling to Dunwoody in the Sweet 16 round in Danielsville.
