Barrow middle and high school students will start class earlier next year while elementary student will begin their day later. The cost of school lunches will increase by at least 25 cents next year in the Barrow County School System. The change is due to new school nutrition guidelines that school systems must meet by 2012-13 set forth by the Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act, which passed in 2010.
