A man was arrested recently after he told deputies he wanted to go to jail. Daniel Garcia, 32, no address listed, was charged with one count of simple battery FVA. County commissioners agreed June 15 to approve a contract with Allied Paving to resurface 2.4 miles of Colbert-Danielsville Road from the city of Colbert to Colbert Grove Church Road for just over $277,000.
