Hanna named to All-State golf team

Apalachee High School junior Shelby Hanna was recently named All-State for the 2012 Class AAAA golf season. Hanna,a junior this past school year, finished 8th at the state meet at BartramTrail Golf Course with a round of 83. Also this spring, Hanna was low medalist at the Region 8-AAAA meet which qualified her for state.

Diamond Cats begin summer play, eye 2013

After establishing a season record for number of victories in 2012, the Apalachee High School summer baseball team is looking to keep the momentum going this summer. JEFFERSON placed 11th overall in Class AA in the Georgia Athletic Directors’ Association Cup standings with 631 points, the highest finish of any local school.
