Probationer arrested after stealing friends’ truck

A Hull man on probation was taken into custody recently after he reportedly stole a couple’s 2005 Nissan Titan truck. Brent Hascal Caudell, 31, 396 James Holcomb Road, Hull, was charged with felony theft by taking and a parole violation. Man dies after being struck by vehicle

A pedestrian died last week after he was struck by a truck as he walked along the highway near 2066 Hwy. 72. Twenty-two year old Killian Ward, of Colbert, died at Athens Regional Medical Center from his injuries.
