28 Arrested in Barrow Drug Roundup

Twenty-eight people were arrested in Barrow County on Sunday, Aug. 12, the result of a multi-agency roundup, authorities said on Monday. The arrest phase of the operation followed a lengthy investigation, which involved narcotics officers making undercover purchases of drugs and controlled substances. Separate accidents killed two people on Barrow County roads with a 24-hour period this week, Barrow County Coroner David Crosby confirmed.
