Lady Bulldoggs begin Region 8-AAAAA tourney

The Winder-Barrow High School softball team will begin the postseason Tuesday, Sept 25, against Cedar Shoals in an opening-round game of the Region 8-AAAAA tournament. They had to hold off a furious fourth quarter comeback attempt by Central Fellowship, but the Bethlehem Christian Academy Knights posted their first football win of 2012 Friday night. The Bethlehem Christian Academy football team enjoyed the thrill of victory for the first time in 2012 last Friday as the Knights held on for a 31-26 victory against Central Fellowship on the road.
