Man seriously injured in log truck accident

A Madison County man was seriously injured Sept. 20 when he rolled a log truck on Hwy. 98. Steven Brock, 24, Danielsville, was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital with serious injuries after he overturned a 1988 Kenworth semi truck on Hwy. 98 at Neese-Commerce Road at approximately 3:35 p.m. Thursday. Allysa Landers of Winder won the Barrow Journal football contest for Sept. 19 edging two other contestants on the tiebreaker. Landers correctly predicted winners in 11 of the 12 games listed along with Sandra Ledbetter and William Wells.
