An abandoned guard shack on Cherry Drive was damaged last week, according to an incident report filed at the Braselton Police Department. An apparently drunk driver hit a county-owned asphalt spreader on Gum Springs Church Road, according to an incident report from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. Visitors Center to open again at Mayfield Dairy Farms
