The Apalachee High School football team remained in the playoff chase Friday night with a 20-0 victory against Salem. The win improves AHS to 4-4 overall and 3-3 in Region 8-AAAAA. Sandra Ledbetter of Winder correctly forecast the winner in 11 games last week to claim the $50 prize. Unlike previous weeks, Ledbetter was the stand alone winner and did not need the tie-breaker.
