Jackson Co. 32, Franklin Co. 29: Brissey catches game-winning touchdown pass to lift Panthers in wild one

JACKSON County's Ben Brissey caught a 22-yard touchdown pass from Kyle Daniel with 13 seconds left in the fourth quarter to give the Panthers a 32-29 win in a thriller Friday against Franklin County. The visiting Panthers (4-2, 2-1) engineered the game-winning drive with just 1:29 left after falling behind 29-25. Check back later for more details.

Dawson County Tigers hand third region loss to Leopards 45-9

The Banks County Leopards are still looking for win number two on the 2012 season. With losses to Commerce, West Hall and Buford the Leopards were hoping to redeem themselves tonight against Dawson County, but the dream was soon vanquished by the Tigers. The visiting Heritage High School Patriots got back on the winning track last Friday with a 37-12 victory against Winder-Barrow High School.
