Panther Invitational offers usual tough lineup

During the break the wrestling team hosted and won the Dennis Marlow Wrestling Tournament. There were 10 teams competing with Banks County defeating Oconee County in the championship round.

McDaniel wins contest on tiebreaker

Larry McDaniel of Winder was tied with three other contestants last week in the Barrow Journal football contest, but took the $50 prize after the tiebreaker. McDaniel guessed 58 points would be scored in the Georgia Tech vs. Duke game and 66 points were totaled by the teams. Everett had 10 correct picks to edge out Susan White and Cory Landers. ...
