A South Carolina woman was arrested recently after she allegedly scratched her boyfriend and “tore up” his house. Jennifer Lynn Collins, 23, 421 Commonwealth Road, Mt. McDaniel wins contest on tiebreaker

Larry McDaniel of Winder was tied with three other contestants last week in the Barrow Journal football contest, but took the $50 prize after the tiebreaker. McDaniel guessed 58 points would be scored in the Georgia Tech vs. Duke game and 66 points were totaled by the teams. Everett had 10 correct picks to edge out Susan White and Cory Landers. ...
