Lucy Moon Pulliam, who turned 100 Oct. 27, received a proclamation in her honor and a standing ovation at the Madison County commissioners’ meeting Oct. 29. A shop in Pendergrass was damaged in a fire on Thursday. The North Jackson, Jackson Trail, West Jackson and Jackson County Correctional Institute fire department’s responded to 1819 New Cut Road, Pendergrass, on a reported structure fire.
