Work on Hwy. 29 North water line continues

Work is continuing on the Hwy. 29 North water project that will connect Madison County to Franklin County water lines. School superintendent to recommend 170-day school year

Barrow County school superintendent Wanda Creel on Tuesday night will recommend that the Barrow County Board of Education approve a school year for 2013-2014 restoring half of the 20 days of instruction cut this year to save money.
