A South Carolina man who claimed to work for “Washington” killing terrorists abroad and in Arizona and who said he saved President Obama’s life four times, nonetheless wound up in the Jackson County Jail after a run-in with Commerce police. With one dissenting vote, the Barrow County Board of Education voted Tuesday night to set next year’s school calendar at 170 days. The approved calendar shows that the upcoming school year will begin Wednesday, Aug. 7, and end Thursday, May 15.
