Danielsville hires new municipal court judge

For the first time in 22 years, Danielsville has a new municipal court judge. Attorney Al Stone, who had served as judge for nearly a quarter of a century, resigned from his post effective Jan. 31. Hull man charged with battery

A Hull man was charged with family violence last week when officer Josh Fowler was sent to investigate a domestic dispute. Michael Shane Williams, 51, 120 Arthur Road, was charged with one count each of battery FVA and false imprisonment. The Apalachee High School boys basketball team fell in the opening round of the Class AAAAA state tournament Wednesday 57-40 to New Manchester.
