Tracy Kent Brooks, a 24-year veteran of the Jackson County legal community, has announced her intention to run for judge of the probate court of Jackson County.
A 43-year resident of Maysville, she is married to James Timothy “Tim” Brooks, her husband of 28 years.
Brooks has worked for the Clerk of Superior Court of Jackson County for 11 years, and has spent the past 13 years serving the legal needs of clients throughout the county. She is currently employed by the law firm of Bradford & Primm in downtown Jefferson, and was formerly employed by the law firm of Tolbert and Bradford.
“I am confident that with my experience in probate matters, I can serve the citizens of Jackson County with the professionalism and expertise they deserve,” Brooks said when making her announcement.
