An abandoned guard shack on Cherry Drive was damaged last week, according to an incident report filed at the Braselton Police Department.
An officer on patrol spotted a large amount of broken glass in the driveway near the building. Someone had attempted to break into the building.
Other incidents reported to the Braselton Police Department last week include the following:
•harassing text messages at a Walnut Way address when a man said he met a woman online and they went on several dates. He said she began sending him text messages accusing him of stealing her golf clubs. The man said he doesn’t know what she is taking about but wants her to stop contacting him.
•domestic dispute at a Beech Trail address when a woman came to the home of her ex-boyfriend and allegedly caused a disturbance because her car had been towed off of the property.
•checkbook found in a dumpster at a Spout Springs Road address. It had 34 checks in it.
•damage to the golf course at Chateau Elan with a reported $500 in repairs needed.
