Eddie Wallace of Winder was one of two contestants to correctly pick all 12 games in the Barrow Journal football contest last week. Wallace won the contest for the Oct. 3 edition on the tiebreaker as he predicted 52 points would be scored in the Apalachee/Flowery Branch game.
Wallace edged out Rebecca Freeman of Bethlehem, who predicted 46 points would be scored. Flowery Branch defeated Apalachee 30-20 for a total of 50 points.
Four contestants correctly picked the winners of 11 games and just missed perfection. Donald Redmon, Pam Yarbrough, Luke Sheats and Reed Sheats each had 11 correct.
Another 12 entries had 10 correct including Rory Sheats, Deborah Cooper, Cory Landers, Tim Husk, Misty Landers, John Landers, Sarah Garrett, Angela Smith, Charles Garrett, Larry Black, Nathan Freeman and Lola Freeman.
Those with nine correct included Kimm Everett, Nancy Aloia, Allyssa Landers, Jimmie Shedd, Donald Landers Jr., Donald Landers, Shirley Witte, Mike Duane, Holly Sheats and Tate Sheats.
