A Hull woman was arrested on a myriad of charges recently after officers were summoned to Hidden Falls Drive regarding a female with a knife.
Shara Leigh Mattox, 28, 124 South Hickory Point, was charged with possession and use of drug-related objects, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, prescription drugs must be in their original container, DUI/drugs, unsafe vehicle or equipment, aggravated assault, obstruction, fleeing or attempting to elude, reckless driving, failure to obey stop sign, possession and use of drug-related objects, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, unlawful to come inside guard lines to deliver to inmate a controlled substance and criminal interference with government property.
According to the incident report, officer Chad Parr arrived at the house and met with Mattox’s boyfriend, who told him that Mattox had pulled a knife on him outside the residence and was now somewhere outside.
Parr found Mattox lying in the bed of her boyfriend’s truck using her cell phone. Mattox told Parr her boyfriend had been hitting her in the head so she was trying to find a ride so she could leave. Parr noted she bore no signs of an altercation. She said her boyfriend had picked her up the day before and she had spent the night so she could see her child.
Her boyfriend told a different story, saying another man brought her to the residence and that Mattox was on drugs and should be searched. He said he did not want her there because she has a TPO against him. Mattox gave permission to search her bags where Parr found several syringes and a glass pipe with a white residue.
She said that her boyfriend must have put the items in her bags. Several pills and $442 cash were found in her wallet, along with a filet knife matching the knife that her boyfriend had described. She was taken to jail.
