BETHLEHEM – Leonard “Curly” Kuechler, 76, died Friday, November 2, 2012, at his residence following an extended illness.
Curly collected donations for the Shriners Hospital in Barrow County for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Black Kuechler, Bethlehem; son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Wanda Kuechler, Douglasville; son, Joseph Shoffeitt, Dahlonega, daughter and son-in-law, Mylinda and Brian Smith, Dawsonville; brothers, Al and Eddie Kuechler; sisters, Millie Smith, Doris Phelps, Fran Dias, and Jeanne Ekdon; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, November 4, from Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel with the Rev. Charles Black officiating. Burial was in the Yonah View Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the United States Air Force.
Wages & Sons Funeral Home, Stone Mountain, was in charge of arrangements.
