COMMERCE - Max Alvis, 74, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Alice Alvis; and a son. Max Alvis, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Alvis, Commerce; son, Austin Alvis, Commerce; daughter, Deborah Alvis, Burlington, Wash.; sisters, Gwendel (Sonny) Kelley, Cullman, Ala.; Goldie (Jim) Gardner, Cullman, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.

There is no service planned at this time.
