Shortly after Barrow County commission chairman Danny Yearwood took office in January 2009, the county government lost its top administrators and several directors. Now as Yearwood prepares to leave office, the two remaining key administrative posts are being vacated. Operations development manager Robert Hohe and long-time county clerk Michelle Sims both notified Yearwood in letters dated Nov. 12 that they plan to retire in December. Sims’ last day of work is Dec. 21. Hohe’s final day on the job is Dec. 14.
