Caitlyn Christy (11-13-12)

COLBERT - Caitlyn Damara Christy, 16, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012.

She was an honor student at Madison County High School and was employed with Zaxby's in Hull. She planned to attend Georgia Southern.

Survivors include her father, Scott Christy; mother, Kuan-Yin Frederick; grandfather, David Fredrick; brothers, Nick Christy, Osman Torres, Addison Smith, Shaun Garrett; and a sister, Amanda Garrett.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 16, at Lord & Stephens, Madison Chapel, with the Rev. Robbie Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Colbert Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, and one hour prior to the service on Friday, November 16.

Pallbearers will be Addison Smith, Nick Christy, Osman Torres, Shaun Garrett, Robyn Hardigree, and Joey Wagoner.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Madison Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
