Old-Fashioned Christmas in Colbert set for Dec. 7

The Old-Fashioned Christmas in Colbert will be held Dec. 7, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. in downtown Colbert.

“You are invited to join the Colbert community for free hotdogs, hot chocolate, the Christmas Story and carols at the pavilion promptly at 6:30 p.m.,” officials said. Visit Santa at the log cabin and enjoy a hayride, inflatables, face painting and a marshmallow roast. Remember to bring an unwrapped toy and non-perishable food items, and/or mittens, gloves, hats, scarves for the Madison County Food Bank and wet or dry canned cat or dog food for the Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter.
