Rebecca Smith (11-26-12)

JEFFERSON - Rebecca Knight Smith, 48, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012.

She was the daughter of Louise Knight of Hoschton and the late Grady Lee Knight. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Danny Jackson. Rebecca loved life, her family, animals and nature. She was a member of White Plains Baptist Church.

Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband Sandy Smith; daughters, Doria Gantt and Pete, Jefferson, and Sandi Smith and Barrera, Statham; brothers, Ronny Knight and Diane, Commerce, Melvin Knight and Debbie, Lawrenceville, and John Knight and Fiona, Daytona Beach, Fla.; sisters, Connie Knight Beers and Terry, Loganville, Judy Adams and Mark, Toccoa, and Sharon Jackson, Hoschton; grandchildren, Rayane Gantt, Carlin Smith and Khloe Barrera; seven nieces; eight nephews, four great-nieces; and three great-nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 28, at White Plains Baptist Church. Pastor Corey Pittman officiated.

Lawson Funeral Home, Hoschton, was in charge of arrangements.
