Janie Mae Conwell (12-1-12)

Janie Mae Gilreath Conwell, 87, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012.

She was born on January 29, 1925, in Wheeling W.V., the daughter of the late Andy and Ruth Davis Gilreath. She worked for many years at Ila Manufacturing as a seamstress. Mrs. Conwell is preceded in death by two brothers.

Survivors include children, Regina Baughcum, Colbert, Jerry Conwell, Ila, and Larry Conwell, Monroe; four sisters; two brothers; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Monday, December 3, in Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Cole officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the Quiet Oaks Nursing Home.
