Construction of the Braselton LifePath is progressing — and the project’s administrator reported Monday that permits are granted all the way from Highway 211 up to Highway 347, or Thompson Mill Road.
Easements still need to be acquired for Thompson Mill Road, however, in order to move forward with construction of the multi-use 1.7-mile path connecting areas of the town.
According to its website, http://braseltonlifepath.com, the vision for the Braselton LifePath is to connect The Village at Deaton Creek and Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s River Place to Chateau Elan, Mulberry Walk and the Town of Braselton Riverwalk.
“Thank you for your hard work on this,” Guy Herring, administrator, told members of the Community Improvement District (CID) on Monday.
In other business, the board approved two financial statements and two invoices. The invoices were in the amounts of $4,345.50 and $2,080 paid to McFarland-Dyer and Associates for services provided throughout Nov. 30.
