Ruby Thornhill (12-7-12)

HOSCHTON - Ruby Thornhill, 86, died Friday, December 7, 2012.

She was the daughter of the late Henry and Lizzie Mae Everett Hawkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, M.J. Thornhill on December 1, 2005. Mrs. Thornhill was a member of Bethabra Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Darlene Thornhill, Hoschton; grandchildren, Anthony Welchel and Angela Holder; great-grandchildren, Mary Welchel, Anna Holder and Gavan Welchel.

Funeral services were held Sunday, December 9, from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Revs. Ronnie Coley and Landon Frymire officiating. Interment was in Bethabra Baptist Church Cemetery.

Carter Funeral Home of Winder was in charge of arrangements.
