Jerry Landress (12-8-12)

WINDER - Jerry Doyle Landress, Sr. 65, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2012.

He was born in DeKalb County, on August 10, 1947, the son of the late Glenn Jackson and Thearussa Berleen Sexton Landress. Mr. Landress was retired from the construction industry with many years of service. He was a member of New Life Worship Center in Statham.

Survivors include daughters, Andreana Charlene Landress, Maysville, Haley Marie Landress, Winder, and Tara Rose Landress, Winder; sons, Jerry Landress, Jr., Winder, Michael Landress, Winder, Eric Landress, Maysville, and Zachary Landress, Winder; sisters, Ann Pendley Tucker, and Jean Evans, Maysville; brother, Jack Landress, Tucker; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday December 12, at 11 a.m. at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leon Pass officiating. Interment will be at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain on Wednesday December 12, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 11, at Evans Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m.
