Big New Year's party set at civic center

The Commerce Civic Center and the city of Commerce invite area residents to “Bling in the New Year” at a BYOB New Year’s party Monday night, Dec. 31, at the civic center. It’s an adults-only event, and IDs will be checked at the door.

“Back in Time” will provide live music. The event starts at 8:30 (doors open at 8:00) and will end at 12:30. Local comedian Dannette Flint will be the host.

There will be a champagne toast at midnight and a breakfast buffet. A professional photographer will take photos.

Guests are welcome to bring beverage and snacks for the evening.
