Kerry Williams (1-9-13)

COMMERCE - Kerry Maurice Williams, 55, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at his residence.

He was born in Commerce, the son of Marie David Williams of Commerce and the late Jackie Williams. He was a member of Jones Chapel Church and was employed with Gold Kist Hatchery.

Survivors in addition to his mother, include his wife, Erica Jackson Williams, Commerce; children, Tashaundra Lumpkin, Athens, Latoya Brown, Commerce, Dustin Williams, Athens, and Shunga Moon, Winder; sister, Jacqueline Gholston, Commerce; brother, Rev. Jerry S. David, Monroe; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 12, at Jones Chapel Church with the Rev. Jerry S. David officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, January 11, from 6 to 8 p.m.
