Claudine Patton (1-12-13)

COMER - Claudine S. Patton, 85, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 12, 2013.

A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Wannie and Icie O'Kelley Sanders. She was the widow of the late Jacob "Jake" T. Patton. Ms. Patton was preceded in death by children, Robbin and Janet Patton; brother, Joe Paul Sanders; and a daughter-in-law, Nancy Patton. She was a member of Meadow Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress from Blue Bell.

Survivors include children, Mike Patton and Brenda (Kenneth) Poss; grandchildren, Jill Patton, Julie (Shane) Sartor, Jason (Kristen) Poss, and Jonathan Patton; great-grandchildren, Cole Patton, Tristan Poss, Blakely Sartor, Brooklynn Seymore, Natalie Sartor, and Landon Poss.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 15, at 11 a.m. at Meadow Baptist Church. The Revs. Mike Sarna and Dennis Wester will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Culberson, David McFarland, Joe Moon, George Slaton, Charles Booth, and Neal Banks. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday January 14, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Meadow Cemetery Fund or Hospice Advantage.
