A Braselton home was damaged in a fire on Friday that left one man injured.
The West Jackson, North Jackson and the Jackson County Correctional Institute fire departments responded to 515 Chardonnay Trace in Braselton on a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, they found a one-story single family residence with fire showing from 40 percent of the structure.
The fire was quickly extinguished and one occupant, a male, received minor burns. He was treated and transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville, in stable condition by Jackson County EMS.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office has been requested and is investigating the cause of the incident with the West Jackson FD.
