Christopher Barksdale (1-26-13)

CARLTON - Christopher "Chris" Lawrence Barksdale, 38, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013.

He was the son of Marilyn Luke Jacobson and the late Clinton Larry Barksdale and was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Valerie Huff Barksdale; children, Clayton Barksdale and Victoria Barksdale; sisters, Lynn Graham and Jessica Benton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, at Riverside Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Comer Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 29 at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Madison Chapel.
