Actions filed recently in the office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Madison County include:

•Matthew Brent Freeman, 25, 874 McGinnis Chandler Road, was sentenced recently to five years probation for obstruction of officers (reduced from aggravated battery), 10 years probation for the possession, manufacture or distribution of marijuana, five years probation for possession of a firearm/knife during a crime or attempted crime and one year probation for DUI alcohol, weaving over roadway, failure to stop for a stop sign, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, obstruction of officers, open container violation and no tail lights. He was also fined $3,016.

•Kelley Todd Fowler, no age or address available, was sentenced to four years confinement for forgery in the first degree and one year confinement for giving false information to officers and failure to obey a traffic control device.
