Donna Knight (2-1-13)

STATHAM – Donna Eugenia Bennett Knight, 49, died Friday, February 1, 2013.

She was the daughter of Mamie Lyons of Cocoa, Fla., and the late Eugene Barrett. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and always had to have the last word, but will be especially remembered as a loving mother and wife.

Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Terry Knight, Statham; sons, Timmy Bennett and Bobby Knight, both of Statham; a daughter, Jeanie Knight, Statham; brothers and sister-in-law, Tommy and Michelle Hood, Dacula, and Donnie Norick, Cocoa, Fla.; sister, Deborah Thompson, Cocoa, Fla.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 5, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12 to 2 p.m.

Donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.

Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
