DANIELSVILLE - Carey Dean Crowe, 52, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013, at his residence.
A native of Madison County, he was born August 28, 1960, the son of Janet Dean Crowe and the late Edward Crowe. He was the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Zeb Dean of Zeb's BBQ, where Dean was employed. He was also the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eldridge Crowe.
He was a loving husband and father and was well known and loved by his family, friends, and members of the community. He loved farming, hunting, the outdoors, and spending time with his children.
Survivors, in addition to his mother include his wife, Rhonda Royston Crowe, Danielsville; son and daughter-in-law, Carey and Kaitlin Crowe, Danielsville; daughter, Carley Crowe, Danielsville; brothers, Gary Crowe and Floyd Phillips, both of Danielsville; and a sister, Pam Osley, Danielsville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, at the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Reggie Vaughn and Mr. Chris Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday, February 11. The family is at Zeb's BBQ, 5742 Hwy. 29 North, Danielsville.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to the school fund for Carley Crowe at the BB&T Bank in Danielsville.
