Shirley McDaniel (2-8-13)

WINDER - Shirley "Tiney" Ann McDaniel, 67, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013.

She loved her family and grandchildren. She had a passion for yard sales and enjoyed watching soap operas. Tiney was the very best biscuit maker around. She is preceded in death by sons, Buck McDaniel and Royce McDaniel Jr.; brothers, Billy Nix and Lawrence Nix; and sister, Mary Casper.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Royce McDaniel; sons, Terry and Missy McDaniel, Steve and Melissa McDaniel, and Billy Ray Casper; daughters, Millie and R.D. Davis, Donna and Raymond Fowler, Tammy and Bo Whisnant, and Susan McDaniel and Ricky Milam; sisters, Cora Mae Childs and Sue Duke; grandchildren, Cory McDaniel, Roxie Davis, Mia McDaniel, Taylor McDaniel, Austin McDaniel, Ashleigh McDaniel, Randy Fowler, Ryan Fowler, Kyle Gibson, Casey McDaniel, Kelly King, Tiffany Whisnant and Ladonna Whisnant; and great-grandchildren, Luke McDaniel, Abby McDaniel, Caleb King, Zech King, and Katie Beth Gibson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, at the chapel of Lawson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday, February 10, and 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, February 11, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Revival Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastors Lamar Kastner and Joel Shadburn will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeff Nix, Austin McDaniel, Bobby Dalton, Randy Fowler, Terry Shelton and Justin Hollis.
