ROYSTON – Martha Jane Adams Hanley Coley, 78, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013, at the Brown Memorial Convalescent Center in Royston.
She was born in Madison County on July 25, 1934, the daughter of the late Andrew Dewitt and Bessie Quida Hill Adams. She was a bookkeeper for Brown Memorial Convalescent Center and was a member of the Royston Baptist Church. Mrs. Coley was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Coley; and a sister, Jackie Hendrix.
Survivors include children, Johnny Hanley, Royston, Steve Hanley, Royston; grandchildren, David, Greg, Brandon and Aniston Hanley; great-grandchildren, Kim, Caitlin, Christopher and Anna; brother, Larry Dixon Adams, Danielsville; and a sister, Betty Joyce Hodges, Hull.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 13, in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Bert Synan officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
