Janie Lynn Garrett (2-23-13)

COMMERCE - Janie Lynn Wilson Garrett, 40, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Gwinnett County, she was the daughter of Ellen Wilkerson Garrett of Commerce and the late Robert Michael Wilson. Mrs. Garrett was preceded in death by a daughter, Breanna Pruett.

Survivors in addition to her mother, include her husband, Johnny Garrett, Commerce; children, Georjana Garrett, John Garrett and Jimmy Garrett, all of Commerce; granddaughter, Brodeigh Garrett, Macon; stepfather, Wayne Garrett, Commerce; siblings, Kimberly Patterson, Gainesville, and Jeff Wilson, Texas; grandparents, George and Evelyn Wilkerson, Monroe, and Bobby Garrett, Nicholson; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 26, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home. The place of interment will be announced later. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 25, from 5 to 8 p.m.
