Investigators from Barrow County Emergency Services and the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help in determining who started a fire that on Saturday morning extensively damaged a home in the 1400 block of Princeton Avenue. A deputy on patrol at 8:30 that morning discovered the fire, and when firefighters arrived, smoke was coming from the eaves of the house. No one was inside the house. A fire investigation team determined that the fire was deliberately set. A reward of up to $10,000 is available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the arsonist.
