BYROMVILLE - Clyde Scott Page, 63, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 in Flint River Hospital in Montezuma.
He was born July 25, 1949 in Montezuma, Ga., the son of Marion Peterman Page, Statesboro, and the late Clyde Killen Page. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. Mr. Page served as a Tax Assessor in Gwinnett County for 20 years. He attended the Byromville United Methodist Church and was an active volunteer with the American Red Cross Disaster Relief.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Candice Page, Byromville; his former wife, Lily Page; children, Sandy (Steven) Love, and Jonathan Page, all of Winder; brother, Joel (Kim) Page, Statesboro; and two nephews, Joel and Daniel Page, Statesboro.
A memorial service was held Sunday, February 24, at Byromville United Methodist Church.
