BOC Ok’s two new positions

The Barrow County Board of Commissioners Tuesday night voted to add two new management positions. Officials said the move was to bring greater professionalism to the government.
The action brings back the public works director’s position that was filled until late 2008. But the second position — an economic development/community development director — is new.
