Bruce Robert Warner (3-1-13)

COMER - Bruce Robert Warner, 69, died Friday, March 1, 2013.

He was born June 26, 1943, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He served his county in the United States Navy, was project manager at Westgroup, and electrical engineer at the Georgia Center. Mr. Warner was a Mason and a Shriner.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Warner; children, Danelle Awtrey, Austin, Texas, Lisa Adkins, Houston, Texas, James Allen, Chicago, Ill., Robert Allen, Palm Springs, Fla., Ray Stamper and Curtis Stamper, both of Kentucky; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 5, at 2 p.m. at Georgia National Military Cemetery in Canton.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 4, at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel.
