The City of Pendergrass may soon take legal action against several Jackson County authorities.
At its regular scheduled meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 27, the Pendergrass City Council met behind closed doors to discuss what action to take against Jackson County in regards to a zoning dispute.
Pendergrass officials say that county officials took steps to change the zoning of a subdivision – commonly known as the Pendergrass Depot, located on Park St. – to farmland, illegally and without notice.
