Catherine Hogan (3-6-13)

JEFFERSON – Catherine Hogan, 76, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013.

She was the daughter of the late William Elzie Kinser Sr. and Maggie Rellford Kinser. Mrs. Hogan was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Benjamin Hogan. She retired from Mr. B’s Convenience Store as both cashier and manager, and enjoyed cooking and working in the garden.

Survivors include a brother, William Kinser, Jefferson; son, Lewis Hogan Jr. (Sharon); two daughters, Debra (Mike) Sexton, Gainesville, and Cynthia (Scott) McDaniel, Winder; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 9, at 2 p.m. in Barrow Memorial Gardens in Winder. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
