COMMERCE - Buddy Charles Murdock, 76, died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Golden, Texas, the son of the late Otis Cecil and Annabell Mobley Murdock. He worked for Control Equipment Company and was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church. He was a Lt. JG in the United States Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Clarice Sparks Murdock, Commerce; son, Steven Charles Murdock (Regina), Ft. Cobb, Okla.; daughter, Luanne M. Pendley (Kenneth), Commerce; four grandchildren, Keenan Earl Pendley, Kami Clarice Dalton, Koltan Charles Pendley, and Kalli Louise Pendley; and one great-grandson, Wade Eric Dalton.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 11, at 11 a.m. from Beaverdam Baptist Church with the Revs. Duane Eller, Matt Smith, and Chad Payne officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, March 10, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
