Clara Seymour (3-12-13)

COMER - Clara Moon Seymour died Tuesday March 12, 2013.

A native of Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late John and Minnie Hancock Moon. Mrs. Seymour was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Lewis O. Seymour; a brother; and seven sisters. She was a member of the Comer Baptist Church.

Survivors include children, Linda (Mike) Perry, Gary (Elaine) Seymour, and Jeff (Sandra) Seymour; sister, Shine Bennett; brother, Richard Moon; grandchildren, Renee (Brad) Roberts, Scott Seymour, Marty Seymour, Zack (Aimee) Seymour, and Caleb Seymour; and great-grandchildren, Phoenix, Journey, Lenox Roberts, and Hannah Seymour.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14, at 2 p.m. at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville Chapel. The Rev. Lynn Kellum will officiate. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Brad Roberts, Phoenix Roberts, Caleb Seymour, Rudy Matthews, Ryan Paul, and Scott Seymour.

In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to the ACC Facility of Commerce, 200 Bolton Dr., Commerce, GA 30529, and/or Hospice Advantage, 2470 Daniels Bridge Rd., Suite 171, Athens, GA 30606.
